Dr. Michelle Sturm
Dr. Michelle Sturm grew up in Carroll, Iowa, and graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School. Michelle earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2011.
She returned to the Carroll area to join her father at Carroll Dental Associates and began her private practice. Michelle and her husband Jon have 3 children: Addilyn, Jacob, and Ellie.
Michelle is a past graduate of the Carroll County Leadership Program and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association as well as the Fort Dodge District Dental Society.
Rhonda
Registered Dental Hygienist
Rhonda, dental hygienist, was born & raised in Carroll County & attended Coon Rapids Community School. Following graduation, she attended Westmar College for one year before entering the dental hygiene program at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny. Rhonda has been part of the staff since 1992. She resides in Coon Rapids with her husband Kevin. They have 3 children.

Registered Dental Assistant
Cari started working in the dental field in November 2013. She is a registered dental assistant and certified in dental radiography.
Shannon
Registered Dental Hygienist
Shannon received her Dental Hygiene degree at Iowa Central Community College. She is registered in Dental Radiography and is licensed to administer local anesthesia. Shannon has been with the office since November of 2017.
Julianna
Registered Dental Hygienist/Assistant
Julianna received her Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting degree at Des Moines Area Community College. She is registered in Dental Radiography and is licensed to administer local anesthesia. Julianna has been with the office since May of 2015.
Rachel
Registered Dental Assistant
Rachel started working in the dental field in August of 2022. She has 4 years of medical billing experience. She has become a registered dental assistant and has her certification in dental radiography.
Beth
Registered Dental Assistant
Experienced in the dental field for 30 years as an assistant with expanded functions from Florida. She loves the outdoors: raising chickens, gardening, traveling, concerts, reading. Enjoy spending time with family.
Erin
Registered Dental Assistant
Erin started in the dental field after graduation with her Dental Assisting degree in 2013. She relocated to Carroll and is excited to be part of such a great community. She has been with Dr Sturm’s office since August 2025.
Makenna
Registered Dental Hygienist/Registered Dental Assistant
Makenna earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Iowa Central Community College in May 2025. She is licensed to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. Before becoming a hygienist, Makenna worked as a registered dental assistant and also earned a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Public Health. Makenna has been with Carroll Dental Associates since September 2020.
